Bringing Everyone Together Under One Roof
SBC will provide one location for the end-of-life individual (guest), their caregiver and loved ones to be co-located together under one roof in a home-like, peaceful, and tranquil setting.
Here in Bethany Beach, DE, SBC will provide a retreat for everyone to come together to have those challenging discussions, tackle those difficult decisions, enjoy home-cooked meals, receive help/services, and enjoy the beauty of nature and each other.

Our Story
Often as families are facing end-of-life decisions for loved ones, there is no quiet place where families can take time to make these all important and complex decisions. That is why Sunset Bridge Corporation (SBC) was established. The founder, who had been faced with similar situations with her loved ones, wanted to repay the kindness that had been given to her family during that time in life.
Her dream was to provide a place where everyone can come together under one roof for a short period of time to sort out the overwhelming options for end-of-life decisions and care. Hence, the name of Sunset Bridge, serving as a bridge to the sunset of life. At our SBC home you will be surrounded by love, kindness, serenity, and comfort, during one of the most precious, yet stressful times of need.
Our Services
SBC offers 1-2 weeks on-site supportive care, free of charge for end-of-life individuals (ages 18 and older, particularly those from underserved populations) to bridge them while their caregivers/loved ones are preparing the paperwork and plans for transition to their end-of-life location (facility or homecare).
At our SBC home, guests and their loved ones will receive the gift of time together, while having the opportunity to find solace, renewed strength, and nourishment for their body and soul.
In addition, SBC will provide a week free of charge to the caregivers/loved ones to rejoin on-site at our facility for personal respite and closure of their journey upon the passing of their end-of-life loved one.

In May of 2023, Sunset Bridge Corporation purchased a property bordering the Salt Pond in Bethany Beach, DE. Looking forward, we hope to build a home to accommodate multiple guests at the same time, while still providing them each with privacy.
